HOMEWORK

Homework will be given out every Friday and due the following Thursday. Remember there are 27 students in the class to accommodate and differentiate. Homework is not regulated by Skolverket in LGR 11 (curriculum that we follow). For this reason, Johannes school has come up with guidelines to follow. You can view them on the school's website.

Due 9th May
Swedish homework should be due Thursday 3/5

Spelling I've given a list of words with double consonants. Students were also given a list of activities that were worth different points. They should do the activities so they add up to 20-30 points. I'm hoping this will be able to differentiate between different learners.

Weeks 11-16
Please continue reading and completing the Swedish homework. We have intense weeks with national tests. A new spelling list will be handed out Friday 20/4.

Week 2

Practice the 1s, 2s 3s, and 4s times tables! You need to know them by heart as quickly as you can. We'll be doing timed tests in the next few weeks. It will make it easier when we do division timed tests.  Feel free to use an app, there are many.

Daily Oral Language #11
Students marked some numbers as optional with a star. If you feel like it is too much anyway,  all of DOL can be optional. Just let me know!We are doing Daily oral language in school as well and going over terms and grammar rules. If there is something that your child doesn't understand, please skip it. It gives me a better idea of what we need to work with more at school.

SVENSKA
Nu har våra läseböcker i svenska och tillhörande läxböcker för årskurs 3 kommit.  Böckerna har samma berättelse, men finns på olika nivåer. Era barn kommer varje vecka att lyssna till ett kapitel i skolan. Hemma läser de samma kapitel högt för någon, helst minst två gånger, och gör uppgifterna i läxboken.
Läxa till nästa vecka: läs kapitel 1 och gör uppgifterna till kapitlet i läxboken.
Hälsningar

Katarina
